Nice work! I hope you're wrong on the Bama vs. A&M game. Only hang up I see with Bama could be the OL Play, talent's there but it's unproven. Everwhere else on Offense we're effn stacked, best total roster that I have ever seen at Bama. Defense will be nasty good with the experience coming back. If we can get by A&M I see no reason we will not make it to Atl to compete for the SECCG. Looking forward to the season, can't wait!@

I think you might be surprised by our defense. Yes, we'll be younger, but MUCH more talented in many areas.
WDE: Brandon Alexander/Daeshon Hall
SDE: Alonzo Williams/Polo Manukainu (Obioha will probably have to redshirt due to his back injury)
DT: Kirby Ennis/Hardreck Walker
NT: Isaiah Golden/Justin Manning
WOLB: Steven Jenkins/Brett Wade
MLB: Donnie Baggs/Reggie Chevis (6'1 255 according to the athletics webside. That's an SEC MLB if I ever saw one)
SOLB: Tommy Sanders/Jordan Richmond (Richardson will likely have to redshirt due to his spinal injury)
CB: Deshazor Everett/Noel Ellis
CB: Devante Harris/Tramaine Jacobs
FS: Howard Matthews/Victor Davis
SS: Kameron Miles/Shaan Washington
We may be YOUNGER on defense, but we'll be FAR more deep and slightly more talented overall than 2012.

quote:Yeah, I feel like they will too. Because its a fricking rivalry game, and one of the most heated rivalries in the nation! Of course they'll be pumped, but so will we. I'm not like Arkansas fans around here and say "well we beat them for 4 straight years so we're gonna beat 'em this year." But I will say that the reasons we beat them the past 4 straight years are still extremely prevalent.
I've got a funny feeling about this one. I feel like Clemson is gonna play balls out.
They can recruit as many 5* skill players as they want, they will probably put up huge numbers in the ACC with QB Tahj Boyd, but they will not be prepared to deal with an SEC caliber team/defense in an SEC stadium. Oh, and Spurrier>>>Dabo.

I agree A&M will be much better on defense, but it is going to take a little time to get it together. Remember we play Alabama EARLY in the year. We will be kicking arse and taking names by the end of the year though.
If we do get by Alabama, I feel good about predicting a possible MNC run. We have the offense in freaking spades, and the defense is coming along nicely.

What is with Mizzou posters posting just stupid shite about football?
Mizzou is gonna get whooped by Vanderbilt, then Georgia, and then somehow beat Florida. That makes complete fricking sense.

I'm way more butthurt that he thinks we will lose to Clemson at home. Could it happen, yes? But it makes my bum sore.
There's no reason I can call anyone a homer or wrong to say we will lose in Athens.

I honestly think UGA, SC and Florida(if they find an offense) finish 11-1.

So you predict that Clemson will LOSE to UGA on their home field where they play their best ball (they are 25-3 in Memorial Stadium the past 4 seasons and had won 13 in a row there until we ended their regular season with a loss last season), with Clemson having a veteran and dynamic offense returning most of their key players and UGA losing almost their entire defense, and have to open the season against Clemson's offense with little in-game time to solidify their new replacements on D....
But you then say that Clemson will go to USC's Williams-Brice, where USC has also played very tough (we're also 25-3 the past 4 seasons there and currently have our own 11-game home win streak going), have beaten CU there decisively the past 2 times we played them, and should have a much better defense for 2013 than UGA will have?? Clemson is 11-14 in away games during that same 4-year span...
ok....

Alabama will probably go undefeated this year. A&M playing us early benefits the Tide the most.
That said, A&M is building up for a run. If they had stayed in the Big 12, with this talent, they'd be assured quite a few Conference trophies.

I think we win 7.
We overachieved last year. Some settling in should be expected. The year after next should be the year we make some noise.

In that case we would go to the SECCG, since our loss was early on. Hopefully we don't lose to them at all.

Had a great recruiting class, but 4 kids won't turn this team into a contender. I would guess 7-5, loses to Bama, Auburn, LSU, A&M and Texas.
Otherwise, I like it. But until someone dethrones Alabama, they are the team to beat.
