Don't be a pussy. Their drive against us wasn't lucky.
We just flat out got outcoached and outmanned in the final minute of that game.

Yeah, I guess I just didn't realize that Chizik was THAT shitty.

I think this is the first year in cfb history that a two minnute drive sucessfully run at the end of a game is considered lucky.

I was skeptical and I was wrong.....but I'll still go

Most Auburn fans that posted on here before the hire didn't want him.

not really, they just wanted someone else more.

That's not true. It was far from unanimous but I'd say at least 50% were pro Gus.
I was not. I was wrong.

I melted. Then he fired everyone, including people I had never heard of. I bought my bus pass that day.

I was skeptical until I saw who all he was hiring for his staff

Maybe it was 50/50. I did see a lot of AU fans that didn't want him though.

"y'all keep saying this, but there is no visual evidence to prove it was or was not a touchdown."
Wrong- on one of the replays you can see his ball carrying forearm on the ground. It clearly shows the ball short of the goal line, and his arm/elbow down. You have to look under the slim gap of the defender to see this but it is there.
So, that means the "lucky" calls plays cancel each other out.
I am beginning to wonder if GA fans are becoming more whiny/arrogant than gumps- didn't even know that was possible.
Anywho, we will see you next year in your house and we will make sure we kick your asses in a more convincing fashion to avoid any future confusion as to who the best team is.

Honestly, I was/am envious. Auburn tanked after Gus left and silly Chizik tried to completely revamp the offense that Malzahn had installed. Everyone including your admins saw that Gus was the real magic behind Auburn's 2010 NC. There was little doubt in my mind that Auburn would be back on track after hiring Gus as HC though granted I never imagined you would be back in the NC picture so quickly.

I was skeptical. I thought he would have the most immediate success out of the 4 new coaches, but was unsure of who would be the most successful over time. I did not foresee him having this much success early, however. And I'm really starting to think he'll have the most success throughout his time in the SEC.

I can't speak for everyone, but my biggest concern was that he was going to be a puppet and keep some folks around that he shoudln't have.
As someone stated earlier, he came in, cleaned house, showed ownership over his position. At that point the worm turned for most.

Yeah. It was concerning to me because they put this coaching search committee together with the intention of finding the best possible coach, and return with a former coordinator with only 1 year of head coaching experience. It just reeked of the Auburn higher-ups back-slapping each other and trying to keep an Auburn guy around as a puppet.
Then he fired everybody. I was excited at that point for a solid 7-6 season and a bowl, then start making noise in 2014. So happy to be wrong on the time-table.
