SMU undergrad and LSU med school. Do I get a pass? I mean technically the football team doesn't play for the med school.
My dad graduated from LSU and I've been going to games since I was four. All I know is my blood races and I'm on the edge of my seat every time LSU plays. I don't get that feeling with any other sports team.

I'm a third generation graduate from my school. That makes me about as far from a sidewalk fan is there is. And that doesn't make me any fricking better than the dozens of members of my family who didn't attend the school but still cheer for it. If they enjoy the program, the university, and the games and have been following these things all their lives (many of which have lasted considerably longer than mine), who the hell am I to tell them they're not "real" fans like I am?

I attend UAH, and they don't have a football program. Thank you very much. Furthermore, a person might now always have the means to attend the university they support as a fan. You're stupid.
