That's my thinking as far as Punt Returns. The typical PR is more compact than Julio and quick as a cat.Makes the 1st guy miss and then hits a seam wide open.
There have been guys built like Julio that were sucessful KRs.Peter Warrick,Tim Brown, etc.
I'd rather not have 11 guys trying to take Julio's head off on Kick-offs or Punts.
I think Trent is shiftier and also much more durable.

I like my returners built more like Maze. Julio just seems too long for a PR...too much of a target.

We don't need Maze to get hurt. Someone has to catch passes this year.

That wasn't Julio's fault. I don't think he even touched the ball.

AJ Green was named a potential starting punt returner for UGA earlier in the spring and has since been verified again that he will be fielding punts this season.
I think it is a good idea for JJ or AJ to be fielding punts.....I mean, they are both one of, if not the best players on their own teams.

JJ is not even in my top 5. Some of you guys need to get his nuts out of your mouth and call a spade a spade.

Big time players make big time plays in big time games. TR is big time and I sure would hate to tackle that guy with him having a full head of steam going.

Yea, thats basically what Trooper Taylor said when asked about Darvin Adams fielding punts this year. Just another way for a playmaker to get his hands on the ball.

You wouldn't have to tackle him because he would have dropped the pass.

I don't think that ball was even kicked to Julio. I know he didn't touch it. Pretty sure that would have been Michael Williams' responsibility, just as it happened on the opening kickoff.

I don't get this argument personally, Arenas was an extremely valuable player on defense (more valuable than Trent is to our offense arguably) and nobody brought this up about him.
If he's the best guy we have let him do it. Like somebody else said its usually the people not returning kicks, or the people covering kicks, who get hurt.

The same can be said for LSU, since Patrick Peterson will be returning punts for us. Put the ball in the hands of your playmakers. Injuries happen.

I like TR on kickoffs. Personally, I'd like to see someone shiftier than Julio on punt returns.

he has as much chance to get hurt as PP and Shepard for us... both will be returning kicks as well

were those piggies realy trying to tackle TR on that run.

Anytime you can get ball in these guys hands, it's a good thing

And he has as much chance as Javy did last year to get hurt. You don't prevent your best return guys from returning just because they might get hurt.

has been named Alabamas #1 kick returner this season.Does anyone think this is taking a huge chance on getting him injured?
It's normal for the RBs to return kicks.. They've got the best hands... It's no more of a risk than running the ball around the line of scrimmage.. Plus the dude is electric, y'all would be crazy to not put him there..
