I've just never seen a fight in the Grove, and can't recall too many on the night before either. I just don't think you understand when you're around people that fight on a consistent basis and it happens "all the time", then it speaks very poorly for you and your fanbase as a whole. Never seen State or Ole Miss fans get in a fight before.

I love how people say shite like like it has any merit when there are tens of thousands of people circulating around an SEC campus on any given game-day.

A frat boy had to be taken in handcuffs after the 2005 game because he threatened to kill me and my friend twice, and came at us the third time. We were doing nothing but standing there trying to call the Bama people we were with who left us after the game.

We went to the Arby's to wait for a ride and got asked to leave 10 minutes in because everyone in there was shouting at us and getting rowdy. They weren't asked to leave, we were. We were sitting there, not even talking to each other.

In 2009 I got threatened with an arse beating and had the guy behind me grab me by my neck and shove me forward because I was shocked (and commented, "Are people really cheering for an injury?" Obviously a mistake) that the people around me were cheering when Peterson got hurt. After security came and heard the story, they told me to keep my mouth shut or I would be escorted out. I left on my own.

This all sounds like total horse-shite.

This was an Alabama fan who got jumped by two opposing fans and was left on the ground unconscious. It wasn't a fight or anything like that, he got jumped and left on the ground. Luckily someone saw from a distance and came to check on him and called the hospital or who knows what would have happened to him. How does that speak loudly about Alabama fanbase as a whole?

You sound like a judgmental prick with a stick up your arse, but I won't base my opinion of the entire ole miss fanbase on the few comments you have made here.

Bama fan got into a fight with a USC fan in 2010 and someone ended up dying. Bama fans take their losses hard.

It's not, but I don't blame you for wanting it to be.

One fan around me during the 2009 incident actually said, "you need to have some perspective." Apparently thinking fans shouldn't be cheering for a 20 year old kid to get hurt is not perspective in Tuscaloosa.

its not uncommon with bama fans, it is less common everywhere else.

Yeah I'm sure Baton Rouge is a much safer place than any SEC city after an LSU loss. Please, go ahead and tell the world how LSU fans throw out a welcoming mat to opposing fans, is objective and rational, and the least hostile fan base to interact with during a marquee match-up. Hell, just google "LSU fans" and see what all sorts of kindness pops up.

Great bro you have already proved that you can find stories of stupid people doing stupid things. That's not proving your point that Alabama has more violent fans than other Schools. If I found some shite on Ole Miss fans, that wouldn't prove shite either. You are taking the actions of a relatively small number of people and applying that behavior to probably close to a million others. But please, link me another story of a dumb Bama fan because if there's one thing you have proven so far, it's dumb things done by Bama fans get a lot of attention.

I'm not shocked that it happened, nor am I shocked that Alabama fans would defend or deflect from it.

They've had plenty of practice at both over the years. Worst fan base in sports.

Funny how when a fight happens outside of Tuscaloosa it's a bama fans fault. And when it happens in Tuscaloosa, it's still a bama fan fault. In no way shape or form is it ever the other guy starting shite

Fights just don't happen in the Grove. It's so condensed and people move around so much, every major tent would know about a fight there within 2 hours. I've never heard of it happening before and would be embarrassed for my fanbase if it were to go down. This apparently is so fricking common on your campus, your posters are not only blowing it off but saying that the assailant was at least somewhat justified when he assaulted a guy saying the motto of his team.

Shed some light on this story, a professor from Athens, Greece, surely enjoyed his trip to Tuscaloosa.

You talk about Bama fans taking football to seriously and yet you say you would personally feel embarrassed by the actions of a complete stranger because of the logo on his shirt.

Do you turn Into this big of a pussy every time you hear about a fight or are you doing this for our viewing pleasure? This is a 12 page thread on one dude punching another dude.

But does a fight not imply two or more people being violent? No no you're right it just means one aggressor
