It seems to me that Texas A&M fan and players are whole-heartedly taking on the SEC personality and "toeing the company line". Missouri, on the other hand, is coming in with this attitude and delusion.

The Big 12 didn't have divisions last year, so we actually played a 9-game conference schedule and faced every conference opponent. This means we played Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Baylor.

Whatever. You had a shitty record in a shitty conference. But you can guarantee a game with Arkansas would be close, somehow.

Going by common opponents, which is the only thing we got here, Arkansas dominated K State and they beat you.

I agree with most of this, except that last bit about Arkansas 'giving us a score to remember.' You would probably beat us, but I guarantee it would be a close game. With the exception of Tennessee (lol), you guys didn't really take any teams to the woodshed during conference play, due mostly in part to that suspect defense (much like us).

Didn't you think KState would beat us too? I seem to remember something along those lines...

And seriously, KState was one of the best teams in the Big12 this year. KState. They had an "elite rushing attack." Arkansas, for all the shite we take about having a shitty defense, shut them down. Keep that in mind.

There's a whole other level of athlete in the trenches in the SEC. The fact that Wilson performed so well is amazing. But to say the league, overall, has shitty QB play doesn't account for the VAST differences between defensive talent.

Not really.
Only if it pertains to Arky.

They seem to think they are a going to be very good and towards the top of the east. Also for some reason they think that they wouldn't get blown off the field by arkansas which amuses me.

I love the SEC and am glad we are here, but the SEC is not "light years better" than the Big 12 like some here like to think.

Probably wont be a popular opinion. Oh well.

No. I was actually cheering for you guys. Feel free to go find the posts.

K-State is a mediocre team with an extraordinary coach.

I didn't call the QB play 'shitty' and I also pointed out the defenses account for this, reading is hard.

The only other thing I might argue is that the SEC really didn't have a lot of great QB play this past season. Wilson was great, Murray and McCarron were good, but outside of that..

Lee and Jefferson tore up out of conference play. Hell I think mstate looked like it had a good qb out of conference. I wish missouri would have made it to the cotton bowl. You guys would have a completely different attitude about this transition.I think it would be Very similar to how aTm is acting.

I think we'll finish between 3rd and 4th in the East depending on how Florida plays in Muschamp's second year. That seems perfectly realistic to me.

You had a great season, I said I think you would beat us. But no, you wouldn't 'blow us off the field.' You didn't blow Vandy, Ole Miss, A&M, or Troy off the field, either.

Good thing I was talking about QB play in the SEC this past season, not about which cupcakes QBs dominated in the non-con.

That would've involved winning more games, unfortunately.

The truth her is most SEC fans want Mizzou and aTm to struggle.

If either team comes in and competes for a division title in the next couple of years in tarnishes the "brand" by having middling Big 12 teams compete.

How'd we do in the latter 3rd of the season when we got back most of our defensive starters? How'd we do against USCe? TN? KState? Mississippi St?

Those little shifts in performance happened to coincide with a few 1st team defenders getting healthy. Make of that what you will.

We win by 14 at the very least. That would only be because we decided to put the breaks on and run the ball most of the second half.

I see you got your mudholes stomped in by LSU... is that what you wanted me to look at?

You're GOING to struggle. We're just pointing out that your optimism is about 10 years early. It takes awhile to adjust, speaking from experience.
