For clarification: yes, schools are split at this time on voting for either the 3-6 or the 1-7 format.
So obviously teams that want to keep more than 1 locked in game every year are the first group of 7.
So who is it?
Bama, Georgia and Auburn are easy.
A&M I would guess is also voting for the 3-6 format.
Who are the others that want more than one locked in?
And follow up question. If it stays tied, what breaks the tie? Sankey, Bama’s vote is worth 1.5?

Nevermind, I totally misread this.
But why would the 2 new teams not get a vote in this scenario? They’ll be in the league when it takes affect

I think he means the Scholls are split 7-7 on the format.

I don’t know. I read they can not vote until they are members. One would think they should get vote.

That's how I read it, 7 want 1-7, 7 want 3-6.

State and Ole Miss are siding with Bama, Tennessee, Auburn and A&M.
Someone will flip and 3-6 will win the day.
State and Ole Miss will have each other as a permanent - State will keep Kentucky and Ole Miss will keep Vanderbilt. It doesn't matter who the third one is, those are good odds. Ole Miss would likely get LSU and A&M and State will be permanents.
State has a winning record against Ole Miss, Kentucky and A&M over the past decade. 3-6 is an awesome deal for MSU.
Georgia, South Carolina, Florida and Kentucky are against the 3-6 model because they already have an OOC Power 5 rival.
Who flips?
Missouri
Arkansas
Vanderbilt
LSU
My guess is Arkansas flips. They will get to keep Mizzou, Texas and pick up South Carolina.

You gotta be a member to vote. Women didn't get to vote on the 19th amendment ;)

Don't lump us in with them.
You have a losing record against us in the last ten Egg Bowls (4-6) and we're .500 since 2010, fricker. Oh, and you've lost two in a row to us. Oh, and the best football team in your school's pathetic history got beat by a hobbling Bo Wallace and an Ole Miss team decimated with injuries.

I think Tennessee is voting 1-7. 15 in a row will do that for you.
I think hogs are voting 3-6 already.

Are you telling me Georgia is willing to give up either the DSOR or Cocktail Party?
GTFO.

It may be the fact of 9 games rather than that. 8 is IMO most ideal, but it doesn't allow the 2 year thing.

I mean if you were given a choice to play only Vandy or play Bama, Vandy and 1 other (UF?), You'd pick just vandy.

It’s silly to be restructuring when two more teams will be coming on board in a couple of years. Wait til then and find something that wil work for 16 teams, ffs.

Tennessee has balls, they don't run from their rival.
A&M looking for a new conference?

What do you think LSU is voting on at this time?
That’s one school I’m not sure on.

Not Tennessee. They want to play Bama.

I said we are voting 3-6. Does that answer your question.

Florida, Tennessee, maybe aTm and Arkansas? Not sure who else unless Kentucky desperately wants both UT and Vandy
