SEC went 3-3 on the weekend
Texas 7
Tennessee 2
Tennessee 10
Baylor 5
Tennessee 8
OU 0
LSU 5
OU4
LSU 1
Texas 6
LSU 6
Baylor 9
Vols looked really good all weekend except for 1-2 innings vs. Texas and the first inning vs. Baylor. True Frosh Chase Burns shut down Texas for 5 innings with 10k's on Friday night. Pitching depth (without their Ace and a top reliever) was on display Sat and Sun. Sunday starter and true freshman Drew Bean continues to impress as does Ben Joyce who hit 103 on the gun. Stolen bases were an issue vs. Baylor in the first inning.
LSU had the late inning magic on Friday night vs OU. Blake Money has been a pleasant surprise so far this year. LSU struggled with Texas but they are #1 for a reason and then committed 5 errors in a loss vs Baylor. The Tigers need to clean up the defense.
Stats from the weekend
Doubles:
LSU 7
Tennessee 8
Triples:
Tennessee 1
LSU 0
Homeruns:
Tennessee 5
LSU 2
Runs scored:
Tennessee 20
LSU 12
Runs given up:
Tennessee 12
LSU 20
Errors:
Tennessee 1
LSU 10
Note: I thought it was interesting that Tennessee outhit LSU across the board playing in a MLB park. I thought that Tennessee offense was only good because they played in a band box stadium.
Texas 7
Tennessee 2
Tennessee 10
Baylor 5
Tennessee 8
OU 0
LSU 5
OU4
LSU 1
Texas 6
LSU 6
Baylor 9

Bo Pelini must be coaching our baseball defense now.

I wonder what kind of life you lead to spend that much time on a Monday morning to post all this. We get it….UT good, LSU evil. Prayers

Nope, some LSU posters and other SEC posters have posted about how Tennessee's offense is inflated because they play in a band box. I was also told Maine was better than Ga Southern (who has beaten 2 ranked teams already this year).

Any announcement on how much money was raised?

I must admit, Tenner is looking pretty damn good. Especially comparing the H2H for our two teams.
Good job over the weekend

Some guy named Dustin Johnson said they had reached their $500k goal first thing yesterday and didn’t go into detail how much more than that they had received

Stats being inflated is not the same thing as saying the UT offense isn’t good. They are not mutually exclusive. Tennessee does have a very good offense. Their power numbers are also inflated playing in a small park.
Tennessee is averaging almost 4 HRs a game at Lindsey Nelson. They didn’t hit like that in any of the games this past weekend.

They hit the ball better than LSU did all weekend who doesn't play in a band box stadium.

Good baseball on display this past weekend. SEC represented well…Utex has a pretty solid ball club.

Yes they did. What’s your point?

A good offense is a good offense regardless of the stadium.

Hope the ridiculous amount of money I spent on beer goes to those kids. I enjoyed the hell out of the weekend. UCLA and Baylor are better than I thought
