Or does he never see a single game? Three consecutive TX HS championships seems pretty impressive. He is obviously a playmaker. Does he have a chance to beat out Allen if he decides against baseball?

Johnny Football couldn't finish higher than 3rd in the West. We're all laughing at the thought of Murray.

Of course.
He's a freak.
But you can't ever predict what's going to happen, for one simple reason: people.

IF what I have read (multiple sources/some with baseball connections) murray will be drafted in the first round and quite possibly in the first 15. those slots usually carry a 2 to 3 million dollar signing bonus. no matter what he or his dad says, even after the draft, he will eventually sign with MLB. that is, unless the Astros (who seem to frick everything up) draft him. seriously tho, MLB knows who they negotiating against and they pretty much win all of them drafted that high. the kid can always go back to college football if it doesn't work out.

Who is going to play RB at A&M ? That is the only thing that A&M lacks in order to compliment a good QB. I do not know if Sumlin puts an emphasis on having one.

Our most effective RB should be Tra Carson.
We'll see I guess.

Allen High School is my team, I am so happy Kyler got us 3 in a row. He never lost a game as a starter.

I do not believe the SEC has much to be afraid of. He is a great player, but he does not play defense and his passing is not elite. He relied on the play breaking down and making something with his legs. The SEC knows how to handle a scrambling QB, there have been a few here

Extremely unlikely that he's drafted that high. Late first maybe. Probably high 2nd.

I think Murray redshirted next season and plays baseball, allowing him time to develop physically. Allen is going to be very good, and will likely get draft after his junior year. That leaves Murray starting as a redshirt sophomore, and the he is going to set all kinds of records.

I do too.
Will be interesting to see what both end up doing under Christensen.

Manziel looks like a giant compared to this kid. I get his pedigree and HS success, but color me skeptical about someone with his slight frame finding any success in the SEC. Recruiting sites list him at 5'10" but reportedly that is very generous.

i had season tickets to Allen games the past two years and saw about 25 of his games

hell of an athlete, very elusive and quick

he needs to work on his arm and accuracy. johnny was better IMO on that

he is small, he needs to put on about 15-20 lbs. i saw him vs top 5 teams in texas in playoffs and they shut him down for the most part

he has potential to be very special but lets not crown him yet

Can Kyler Murray tackle on 3rd and Chavis?

If he can't then I'm not worried.
