Did his H.S. play against Big 12 or WAC talent?

I was only speaking for comparison's sake because they have a similar style of play and Wilson was mentioned earlier. My point was that although they are a similar height (5'11 and 5'10) Kyler does not have the frame to support the 215 pounds of bulk that Wilson has in order to endure hits. Kyler looks small on his film against high school kids and will surely be the smallest quarterback on any SEC roster.

If he plays football, yes everyone should be afraid.

Murray will make some plays but I find it very hard to fear a quarterback who will be the smallest player on the field 90% of snaps.

Johnny Manziel was the same size as Murray

Manziel had 2 inches and 30 pounds on Murray

5'10 175 Murray

6' 205 Manziel

The differences in size between JM and KM aren't relevant. They both can bounce.

KM is smoother, smarter and faster. KM is a damn good passer as well.

If you buy the "mighty SEC defense" BS then sure, all quarterbacks are going to die.

But it's BS, and KM is going to give those defenses fits.

We shall see. I think the future is much brighter for A&M with Kyle Allen than with Murray.

And Kyler comes from a stud football pedigree.
This can go back and forth.
You don't know how things will play out anymore than I do.
Will likely be fun to watch, though.

I don't particularly care which one is better, as long as the team's future is bright.

I would feel the exact same way. I can't understand the Aggie fans who are trying to anoint Kyler as the starter ahead of Allen before he even steps on campus. Many Aggies will disagree but Allen was a better, more polished high school player than Murray and showed a lot of promise last year. Murray is very good in his own right but the superior surrounding talent at Allen was a huge factor in his success.

Competition is good. I don't think KM waltzes into anything and I think KA is the starter next year.
