Would it be unfair to the team that has gotten us from the Bama game to here? or would it be a better business decision to start him?

I'd just rotate him in. It isnt like he's a first round pick talent or something.

He shouldn’t start nor be our first option if there is an injury. He chose his path and that path put LSU and his team second.

I’m not sure I would even play him. The defense has looked rock solid the last few games.

Another man that’s a leader added to the roster is a Bonus no matter how it’s sliced.

Divinity is not a leader. He's also average at best talent out of the 11 defensive starters. Guys that are more important on this defense include: Delpit, Stingley, Fulton, Queen, Chaisson, Shelvin, Lawrence.

Post should have been on the rant. It's apparent that you want to see how many responses you can obtain... Downvote

Not that I owe you an explanation...your assumption is absolutely inaccurate. I asked a genuine question which I felt was legitimate (fair enough if you don't feel it was). I accept that maybe I should have asked on the tiger rant but my intent was to get an opinion not specific to any particular school. Lastly, I would never want to become "that guy" that post on here for the sake of total responses. Have a nice day.

The best 11 should start on defense. What would be unfair to the team would be to hold someone out for reasons that have nothing to do with executing plays on the field and giving the team the best chance to win the game - and therefore the national championship.

Best 11.

I will trust CEO, and his championship staff to make a solid decision on MD playing time.
If he has done all that they asked of him, and his teammates welcome him, yes!

I have no actual information as to what caused his leave of absence. I was happy to see him earn his degree, but I’ll let the coaches make the decision whether to play him and how much

It's important to realize these are still young student athletes. We need to help the student athletes by fostering an environment of growth. Reinstating the young man that has met every challenge and requirement needed to rejoin the team on the field should be applauded. We should continue to support all players as they make a positive impact across our communities.
