I don't agree with jump considering the pre season pols. I just think there was no objective reason for LSU to be behind Alabama this season when you look at last years results, who both teams lost, and who both teams have available.

Hey guess what? we beat VT in 07 by a score greater than Alabama and do you know what everyone said including bama fans? They were overrated. Yet two years later Bama fans were ready to crown them after crushing them.
Ya I know LSU destroyed VT, and so did Bama in their UNDEFEATED national championship year march, PLAYA.

We lost. What does that have to do with the notion penn state was a top 10 team when they weren't even ranked in the top 15?
Oh wait you were just flaming because your an incompetent arse without a home now that your Graceland has a hand scanner and quadruple dead lock.

Heck yeah. I can totally see JLee leading Lsu to the promise land. Especially with the #1 target on their back the whole way.

No/thread. I'm fine with being number 3.
We play the number 2 team and FSU has a chance to knock off OU.
Yep. Being #2 or #3 or #10 in the first week of September doesn't mean shite to an SEC West team. Take care of business in the division and everything will fall into place whether Oklahoma or Boise State lose or not.

their offense was awful, dont get carried away
I kinda get this, but that awful offense put up 33 points. What's your take on a mediocre offense? 40+ points?

It is a good idea to know some protocol when you point out spelling or grammatical mistakes on the part of others. For example, if you point out an errant letter at the end of a word that letter should be set off by quotation marks. You said:
Let me take care of this for you:
Legit does not have an "e" on the end of it. Dumb frick.
There are other problems here, but if you absorb this lesson you should be able to function a little better in a society that expects articulation and clarity to be present in written discourse.

What's the point of scheduling good teams if beating them doesn't earn you anything?

They absolutely should. Saying that Bama and OU shouldnt get passed because they also won is like saying that preseason rankings are factually correct as opposed to a fricking guess.
That being said, it doesn't matter even a little. An SEC west team just needs to keep winning and the rest will fall into place.
I would, however rather LSU come into Starkville ranked #1 as opposed to #3.

Didn't LSU beat bama last year why are they ranked ahead of LSU in the first place. Did people really think that McCarron or Sims are world beaters.
