Yes, I am. I think a 2 place drop to #10 is fair punishment. Anything more is excessive and probably meant as punitive punishment for being good for so long.

Kind of like a retaliatory action to get back at Bama. That isn't fair.

Frick no. They don’t belong in top 25. It wasn’t the loss. If Bama lost a close game because your first time starting QB threw a pick at the wrong time that’s one thing. This was a crazy lol eye dismantling of this team. It wasn’t close except in score for about a qtr and a half

You didn't just lose. You got physically dominated by a team that had a terrible season last year. No, Alabama doesn't even need to sniff the top 25 much less the top 10. There's too many actual good teams that deserve those spots.

You are living in the past. Last year has no bearing on this year and should not be taken into consideration when doing any type of rankings.

Florida State this season is not Florida State last season. Bama played just as good as any other SEC team this weekend, minus just a few puzzle pieces being moved into position.

We have watched to many great teams at Alabama over the years not to know what a great, good, and bad team looks like. This team here is not a bad team yet but it’s really really close. Lack of effort, intensity, focus, and discipline will ruin a team fast if not corrected quickly.

I don't think so. Game wasn't really that close.

Hey, if Texas lost and they get to stay in the Top 10, which you know they will, so should Alabama.

14 points is not a beat-down. Florida State is likely to be in contention for a NC this season so, the loss wasn't even that bad really.

Now I could see your point if it was like a 40 point massacre or something, but it wasn't. It was a hard fought game.

Better question is, where would you rank FSU? Behind Bama, ahead of Bama?

If Bama is No. 10, does FSU jump from unranked to Top 8 or 9?

I’d probably guess FSU No. 14, Bama No. 16.

All personal, childish, insults aside, Bama will probably still beat LSU this season. Sure, it's going to be a little harder for Bama because they don't get to play LSU in Baton Rouge but, LSU will still probably lose like they always do.

Does it matter?

They were likely a best case 2 loss team entering the season and FSU wasn't factored into most of those guesses.

They can afford 1 other loss for playoff hopes.

If chaos happens, maybe 3 losses.

Injuries and new personnel aside, they looked unprepared and big players didn't step up. Sloppy game that lacked the passion you'd want to see week 1 from a team wanting to make a drive this season.

Still, very talented team. It will be a wakeup call or not. Very little for error moving forward. We will have to just wait and see. No issues if they aren't in the top 15 after the egg they laid.

Certainly work to do. It is a good team that need a of work and luck to be a great one this year.
