Last year was the first time since 1976, and only the 3rd time since WWII, that Miss State finished a season with three straight wins.

Ole Miss has beaten both Bama and LSU in same season only twice, 1968 and 2001. Archie Manning was a Sophomore in 1968. Eli was a Sophomore in 2001.

Auburn went 53 years, LSU went 45 years, Texas went 35 years, and Ohio State went 34 years between national titles. All of which are longer droughts than the one UGA is currently in...yet apparently we are the biggest underachievers evarrrr.

Despite both being founding members of the SEC, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech never played each other in the 40 years they were in the conference together.
