I don't have contacts, nor am I conducting an investigation. Again, though... how many entities do you think let's certain information leak out through a legit source, to flush out more information that they may be seeking or to see what scurries out in a panic? Just because he was told that, doesn't mean they told him everything they knew at this point. All I've stated is that Sheridan said, The NCAA is alleging a wealthy Au booster paid Cecil.
What the fanbases are saying based off that statement is amusing and blanket denial of any of it being plausible is funny.

Also, I really wish AU fans had an accurate understanding of the REC. It is a massive organization with multiple chapters. Each chapter has tons of members. There are waiting lists to be in the REC. To have an organization that size break rules would be impossible to hide. Please tell me you recognize this mckibaj.
I'm not saying Bama doesn't/hasn't broken rules. When they do, though, it is much in the same way that other schools do - with only a small group of people knowing the details.

Is Sheridan a legit source?
I guess our definitions of "legit" will be debated, and neither of us have time for that.
The hypothesis was always the same. If AU bought Cam, a wealthy booster ponied up the money.
No duh.
The part that Sheridan loses all credibility in news reporting is when he fails to use a name and when he says things like, "If the NCAA can connect the dots."
Despite his notoriety, he is no different than a random caller going on Finebaum saying Auburn is being investigated about Cam Newton, and the NCAA is trying to pinpoint exactly what happened.

If I had a million bucks, I would be putting it on AU this year. Like I said I find it very odd that Danny is dropping specifics. I would bet my arm that somebody is putting more than 180k on AU just because of the specifics he is claiming.

Well.. he said the NCAA is alleging that statement, and you have repeatedly said you doubt the NCAA is his source, without actually hearing the statement he made, crediting the NCAA as his source.
