You're right. I bet he's wrong on the 50/50 part.

FWIW I think he said it was someone that worked for the NCAA that had been credible to him for 25 years
Yeah... if I was the NCAA, I wouldn't hesitate to keep a person on staf who had been consistently leaking info to Danny Sheridan for 25 years.

i love how everyone quotes what he said as if it is a forgone conclusion - and miss the "IF" part.

It did however make him do that for AU.
Basically AU got a NC for 180k and a free suit

My apologies for playing the rogue booster/Mal Moore/best friends card.
Maybe I should have saved that one.
The point behind what I said was that, while so many people have claimed that "Auburn hasn't been proven guilty of doing anything," and "Auburn has denied any wrongdoing," Auburn needn't have done anything. If a booster did it without Auburn's official knowledge, they could be just as fricked.
It's stupid as hell, but there's a precedent. Go off the attack for a few fricking seconds and actually read what I'm writing. Preferably, read it within the context of the other posts I've made in this thread.
I'm making an effort to be level-headed here. Show a little good faith. *grumble*

No doubt. I like the guy. I'm just wondering where is info is coming from. I doubt it is directly from the NCAA.
In all honesty, the NCAA shouldn't desire to come near the likes of Sheridan with a ten foot pole.

I love how everyone thinks Sheridan is a credible source on Auburn.

It IS a forgone conclusion, remember? DEATH PENALTY! NEWS IS GONNA BREAK IN THE NEXT WEEK! WATCH OUT!

Somebody that has given him accurate information about the inner workings of the NCAA for the past 30 years.
In a matter of about 20 posts, its already changed from an "NCAA source" to "someone who has worked for the NCAA for 25 years" to "someone how has given him accurate information about the inner workings of the NCAA for the past 30 years".
Yet again the "Whisper Game" runs rampant.

I didn't miss the IF on that one statement. I also didn't miss the part where, The NCAA is alleging the wealthy Au booster paying Cecil, either. There was no 'if' on that statement.

Credible on Auburn? Who knows?
Credible on College Football? Millions of bettors have thought so for many, many years.

You are ignorant if you think any major football program is clean.
At least one of you Auburn fans has some brain matter up there. If your favorite team has been ranked in the Top 25 at all ever, odds are pretty darn good that they're cheating, at least as far as the NCAA is concerned.
