Gonna be a rough start. Covid year in a place where you have zero relationships with the kids being recruited. Tough spot for a new HC

When VANDY is 55 spots above you, you're F'ed. (No offense Vandy fans)

Might as well start saving buyout money AGAIN.

Look here for some SEC new coaches buyouts! MSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Missouri.

I am confused with South Carolina! I thought this was what it cost to buyout the HC salary if being fired for no cause? Is that for what other school want to take away the HC?

Geeeez you're a bit dramatic. Shane Beamer will be fine. He has plenty of time til February. And plenty more til fall practice. Posting threads on the main board with cryptic headlines sure is doing your part to help. Great look. Anyhow Gamecock fans who are on the edge can go ahead and jump already. Buncha chicken littles. I aint saying piss solar but maybe relax. Ease up a bit. Hasnt gamecock football taught you anything?!

Wow...that has to be one of the dumbest statements of the day. He could have done no more from Columbia than he did from Norman. He still can not do a face to face with any recruit. He has to go the transfer and Juco route for now and try to build for the 2022 class.

Hang in there, SC. Look, we didn't win a single SEC game for what seems like eons. Won 4 this season and (moral victory warning) came close to another 2. Broke all expectations in recruiting ranking. This to say shite can be pretty low but let the KIDS fight for their pride. Show them some love.

I'll be pulling for you guys and Beamer.

So, what's the point of all your hate?

With the exception of a few outlier years, SC has been a 7-loss team for decades. LOL

You spelled Ole Miss incorrectly.

Beamer is employed by Oklahoma until they agree to release him from his contract. They have one more game to play this season, then they will likely release him. New hires like this usually stay till the end of the season and then leave before any bowl game.

He's the freaking TE coach...

You could maybe add, Ole Miss, but the following describes South Carolina accurately...

We've got one (two actually) and our idiot OC refused to play him this year (over a guy that has had 3 ACL replacements...

So is Beamer going to retain Bobo as the OC? I've never been that impress with his offense/play calling. I remember Richt always having to go back and forth on taking over the play calling duties from him when he was OC at UGA.

Some of people are wondering if we end up in a co-OC situation with someone like Garrett Riley coming in and working with Bobo.

I mean, that could work, but why do they want to keep Bobo? Is he a really good recruiter or something?
