The game has evolved very much over time. In some decades, bowls were important. In others, bowls didn't have the same value placed on them.
I know you can parse that because you can type letters and had enough sense to sign up for a board and make posts so, you are doing good.
20 years from now, I'll have to explain to a whole new crop of the wilfully ignorant that the BCS really did count and Bama's NC's during that time actually are valid.

the subject has certainly been beaten to death. But it's pretty ridiculous to have people constantly say "Bama claims championships they don't really have", then when someone posts a legitimate explanation it's "too long, butthurt, insecure" etc.
I don't agree with everything he wrote, and the writing style is annoying at times, but it's a legit commentary and is more deserving of being read than most on the subject.

What don't you agree with? If I'm incorrect in anything and can be convinced of that through civil discussion, I'll gladly change it.

That is the issue; I don't believe you. If you had not read it, you probably would not be in the thread.
