Why would Dabo go to Alabama? He's got it made over there is SC. At Bama he'd always be the guy who coached after Saban.

You completely missed my point. It’s because of the pressure at Bama that many coaches don’t want the job and there is nowhere to go but down after Saban retires. The expectation at Bama now is there can be no more than one loss in a season and the team must play for a NC, anything less is failure.

If that was your point, talking about Bama having a hard time hiring a coach before Saban was kind of an odd way to make that point.

Bama is only going to want to hire the best and the best HC’s will already be making many millions at their current job. What HC making a ton of money wants to leave his current job to take on the job of maintaining perfection?

Someone will. They don't get to be successful head coaches making millions of dollars by not having confidence in themselves

Whoever it is is going to be miserable. No living up to a legend. Dabo is going to wait until the 3-4 years of misery are over before coming back to fix things.

Dabo ain’t going to Bama.

Nobody is pulling Patterson away from TCU. He has it made there and actually does love it there. He will retire there.

Bama is not going to overpay for Jimbo. They aren’t completely stupid like A&M.

Will Muschamp will not even be considered for obvious reasons

Franklin would be a fool to take the job. I’m not knocking Bama here, but the next guy is going to be held to an absurdly high standard. A standard that Franklin (while a good coach) is not even close to being capable to accomplish. He would be fired in 2 years and would tarnish his career.
