Could this be the greatest single season turnaround in college basketball history?

Honest answer hell no, it’s not even March. Way too early to tell. Unless mizzou makes at bare minimum the elite eight it’s not a real discussion. Have you watched the ncaa tourney, every year there is an elite eight nobody with a terrible prev season. In 05(I think) George mason lost to natty champ Florida in the final four. They weren’t winless the year prior but they went from a losing record in the caa to a beast squad.

I know this board is used primarily to insult opposing schools, but I do have a serious question.

Just a tip...

I don't think this bunch is exactly made up of a bunch of college sports historians.

some school named Towson went 1-31 in 2012 and then 18-13 in 2013 - +17.5 games improvement - Mercer & UTEP in the early 2000s apparently held the record before that -

Missouri won 8 games last season and have 17 wins currently - with 10 games to play - math is still there to get to +18 for Missouri -

Tigers no doubt have more impressive wins than whoever that school was in 2013 -

Is it okay to post now with regards to the unprecedented Missouri turnaround?

Props to Gates, he weathered the storm that was last season, all while keeping his core intact and having back to back top 10 recruiting & portal classes.

I will say this, from blue blood to underdog state, this ain’t the team you wanna draw in the tournament. MIZ…

Yes, but I give Mizzou serious bonus points for doing this in a stacked SEC Conference.

How about now? Is it okay to talk about Missouri's turnaround? Or do I need to wait longer?
