What in the world are yall going to do when Saban retires? So much of your miserable lives revolves around the Tide football program, I can’t imagine what life in the state of AL is going to be like once he leaves.

We will become miserable. Like you LSU fans.

Probably cook up some conspiracy theories after every loss (and some wins). Cry about refs. Follow recruits around and take pictures of their cars. Call the FBI when we feel slighted.

The normal stuff.

It will be interesting. History says they will eat their own...fight for control...those who don't like Saban's power will work to control it, etc...but it is possible Saban has neutered their power brokers to the point that this might be the new norm.

We will take a step back, like we did after Bear retired and passed away shortly after. Eventually another good coach will come along. This is the second time in my life Bama has had the GOAT coach. Will lightning strike a third time? Probably not, but it has been a hell of a ride that I will cherish for years to come just like I do the Bryant years.

Wow...a semi-sensible response from a gump. Have an upvote.

There will be down time, and there will be up times again. Alabama has been playing winning football for a very long time. What we are seeing now is unprecedented, but Alabama has never been a weak team unless they had a bad coach or sanctions.

I see Auburn and LSU fans are thinking hard about Bama on Sunday as usual. The impending beat down has you all worried.

I predict a NC within the first 3 years after CNS.

Then, that individual gets an absurd, too early extension and the program stagnates for 5 years because it was too late to realize they were Larry Coker'd.

Didn't we do that in the early 2000's?

Given this thread, it sounds like you are the one who cares too much about college football.

He won't retire. Bama fans may run him out of town, but he'll be coaching probably longer than Bill Snyder.
