I asked a question, albeit with somewhat of an ulterior motive of keeping the Louisiana State obsession in one place.
Judging by Mulkeys thread calling me out by name because of his sad and pathetic Alabama/cajunbama obsession it didn’t work.

Such a stupid question.... but I'll answer. It's because we are LSU fans and have seen LSU win national championships before.
Let me ask you this. Have you asked other schools the same questions, like ole piss, mizzou, aggies or anyone else? These programs have always done the same and some have had less success. The answer.... you just wanted to take a jab at LSU.

Hell yeah we are very excited about our 2025 Fightin' Tiger football team. We are absolutely loaded. We basically trimmed alot of fat and dead weight from our roster by encouraging players to leave that didn't work out for some reason, didnt play up to their reputations/expectations coming out of hs, and players that flat out weren't going to contribute for our team bc they we glaring weaknesses (starters in some instances) that we were forced to replace via the portal with much better players. By cutting said players and making room...we signed a shitload of proven studs and day 1 standout starters at positions of need. We surrounded nuss (the odds-on favorite to win the hiesman trophy next season) with some serious weapons on top of what already was a good wr room. We added two stud olinemen, one being the best center available in the portal and the other is a top 5 lineman in the portal as well that can play either guard or tackle based on our needs. We return alot of young talent in the ol room too and need to figure out where to play some guys and kelly has said he still looks to sign a tackle in the spring portal window....so ol is gonna be good. Defensively we added all kinds of studs all over the field and all of them are at positions of need and day 1 starters. Kelly also said we are going to look for 1 more safety in the spring portal to compliment Cooley (#2 ranked S in the portal) too. We have a very good and deep roster that should be able to compete for a title immediately. LSU will look totally different than last year. So yeah, LSU fans are excited and yes we do have a totally rebuilt roster from last season...but it had to be done and kelly and staff did an awesome job landing the top portal class in the nation while also reeling in the #7 ranked hs class nationally, all while addressing weaknesses we had at the same time and making them strengths. We Comin'. Plain and simple.

Our defensive backfield. Let go of sage ryan and signed mansoor delane and Cooley...both highly touted. Also signed jackson from Florida at db. We signed the best cb in the nation out of hs who is coming in as well. We also got the best pass rusher in the portal patrick payton from fsu along with old jack pyburn from Florida and jamari butler from Nebraska. We signed the dl from texas in the portal as well. We signed nic anderson the top 5 wr in the portal from ou who is another deep threat to add alongside Hilton to stretch the field for nuss. Barion brown from Kentucky is another top 10 wr we signed in the portal to add to an already sick wr room of chris Hilton, Aaron anderson, Kyle Parker, etc...then we also signed oklahomas best pass catcher last year and a top te target in the portal in Bauer sharp. We have many other examples and much more talent on the roster for 2025. All signs lead any sane person who knows football to believe that LSU is going to be a playoff team next season. How high of a seed? Who fricking knows? But I do know that LSU is going to be improved this season over last...too much talent and nuss is going to kill it with caden durham and Co to run and all of those weapons to stretch the field with. Opponents will have to cover every yard of the field with the players we have and our defense is loaded as well. Basically we have more talent and depth at positions we didn't have as good of talent nor depth at last season. That's enough. Stop asking me dumb questions.
