Deciding to start Jalen Hurts over Blake Barnett and having the best QB on their roster transfer was a mistake that will manifest itself starting next Monday night. If I was a wide receiver on Bama's roster, I might consider transferring too as WRs are proving to be totally useless with Hurts at QB.

Barnett was a much better passer and he could also run pretty well. Wish he hadn't quit on his teammates.

Some of Kiffin's play calling hasn't exactly helped Hurts.

Tua will be here for spring ball and we have another QB coming in for fall practice. Both are better passers than Hurts right now.

I'd take Hurts over that quitter bitch. Bama doesn't have to necessarily have a great Passer with that run game and defense. See: 2016 season.

Coker was pretty underrated though since he started slow. But he made some big throws against AU, UF, and Clemson.

I know OP is trolling, but if I'm an elite WR, explain to me why I should consider Alabama. So I can hone my blocking skills for the NFL? Good luck with that.

Given how easily Barnett quits he's a much better fit for LSU

LSU still got them to commit (maybe all didn't see it through) but that was the concensous for almost a decade. Really have a hard time seeing this being a problem

Not sure the logic of your argument holds beyond a poor troll attempt.

UA has the #1 and #22 WRs (rivals) committed in this class.

The decision to play Hurts gives UA a 3 yr+ starter at the position. Hurts, only a true fresh, will only improve with a full season under his belt, the off season spent working exclusively with the 1s and not splitting reps, and Sark comes on board minimizing offensive play calling change.

This year saw a true fresh-led offense go on to be the 2nd most productive total offense and highest production rushing offense in the Saban era. Not bad for an inexperienced QB still developing his skill set and playing with a limited playbook. So, something is working.

As far as the Clemson game, I'd much rather see a run heavy, ball control game that limits Watson's opportunities than a gunslinging, turnover prone QB, like Barnett.

Do you think Saban is getting a little tired of Kiff?

I think he was pretty irate with him going into halftime.

Hurts has done really well, especially when you consider he is a true freshman. Also, he is benefiting from the amazing Alabama D. I cannot think of any other D that is more likely to score than not in a game.

Both are better passers than Hurts right now.

Nice extrapolations there. 4A Florida ball and Hawaii high ball = SEC and PAC . Gotcha

So this may manifest itself into, at worse, a 14-1 season in which they mudholed Southern Cal, Tennessee, Auburn, shutout LSU again, crushed Florida, added a SEC Championship Trophy to the case, easily beat the PAC-12 champions, and played for a national championship?

There are about 126 other FBS teams that would love to have that problem.
