Barnett may end up a stud but, from what I heard, he led all QBs competing for the job in INTs during scrimmages by a good margin. He was allegedly a turnover machine. A true freshman winning the starting job usually means that the incumbents failed to step up...especially since Saban usually favors experience if the competition is close...so I'm guessing Saban thought Barnett was not the best QB on the roster. And as his choice was the SEC Offensive Player of the Year, it looks like it was the right choice. We could lose to Clemson but I think I'll take Saban's QB evaluation over yours...
