TCU played a tougher schedule than Texas.

So you may want to go somewhere with your chest out. You guys got some gift calls from the refs this season, too.

If you guys lose in football, maybe you can reach the basketball finals and make it a hat-trick.

What's the prospect of LSU's basketball team and football team playing for 2nd place this year?

Not good, but if you're going to go and be a bitch, then just let someone else go...bitch!

Who here would have guessed this time last week that Bama would end up mauling the Gators by more than 2 TDs

Well, some of us. I predicted Bama would win 31-14, so there you go. Texas is going to have a very hard time moving the ball since they don't have a running game.

Wow...I've heard it all now. Sorry but I'll take runner up in BCSCG over playing in the Cap One Bowl. By the way congratulations. That's quite an improvement over the Chicken Sandwich Bowl from last year. Les has the program headed in the right direction.

On the other hand, that Texas defense was lights out against Texas A&M. Oh wait, that looked like a high school game where neither team could stop the other. And then in the Big XII title game, that offense led by almighty Colt McCoy was clicking wonderfully...

I'm sure you've conveniently forgotten all about the championship performance Bama put against Tennessee.

But did you know that A&M has a top 10 offense?

Yeah... that's really not helping your argument. Our defense didn't have much of problem with them earlier in the season, and I think they were one of the top 5 offenses at that point. And our defense - not so super.

Doesn't matter what we think. We have not beat Texas in 8 attempts. We are the ones worried. Both teams better come prepared or it will be an arse romp either way. GOOD LUCK

Funny how everyone seems so assured that Bama is going to dismantle Texas.

"EVERYONE"???

Did you hear Nick Saban on ESPN's bowl selection show last night? Most Bama fans I know aren't saying that at all and the odds makers certainly aren't saying it.

I have a feeling the Texican fans are going to be as bad as the Ohio State fans were...

Sounds like you could have given your own fanbase and team this same message about Nebraska last week.

and in this game, it will be just as applicable. both teams have damn good defenses; to me, it's a pick 'em game. i don't think bama's D line is as good as nebraska's at pass rushing. that alone, makes a HUGE difference. colt mccoy was constantly harassed and simply couldn't implement the game plan last week. i don't think bama can do that. they will, however, be a formidable obstacle to scoring.

I agree that was a poor defensive showing against A&M. But did you know that A&M has a top 10 offense?

A top 10 offense which was dominated by the worst defense in the SEC, Arkansas! Face it, it's the same ole Big 12. No defense!

That worked out well for them, didn't it ?

But those jokers can run up a post count in no time. Wow.
