Somehow I suspect that this whole "angry-jealous" act is just a late night fish camp concoction that's serving as a coping mechanism. Sometimes in cases of severe stress, like LSU fans are plainly suffering from here, they ( coping mechanisms) mitigate the distressing effects of both emotion and cognitive dissonance.
That's a fry cook's opinion though !

Bama helped themselves by beating #1 UGA (the committee kept them at #1 even after Michigan beat OSU), so not sure how that is backdooring in. But keep crying about it. It's what corndogs do best.
