What a distortion. I guess that I shouldn't be too surprised.

By that, I'm sure he means "a win".

Is winning "wrong" in your view?

In that case, the graph is wrong.

I saw the SEC previews posted earlier and this type of material is what pushed me over the edge in joining up.!

I think we can safely say that the 2014 Vanderbilt team is not anywhere near as good as the 9-4 2013 squad that won 4 SEC games...

Yeah, Alabama and Auburn have had it so terrible the past year or so...

Pretty much agree with it, as a whole but just wondering why Bama gets the "they started the season off right against a power conference opponent at a neutral site" & some mercy for starting newbies at qb & other positions but there is no mention of LSU going against a RANKED power conference opponent, at a neutral site, & starting a guy making his first regular season start at qb & new guys at other key positions?
I mean if LSU & Bama are going to be 4/5, both having played neutral site games against power conference opponents while breaking in some key position players, shouldn't the nod go to the team that actually played against a RANKED power conference opponent?

The team reviews are written by the respective schools.

Ok, that makes sense. Now we just need to enroll LSU's guy in a creative writing class.

I pretty much agree with the list, but I'm curious about the graph. It looks like you have 30 separate measurements for week 1 - what's that about?

As a numbers geek and guy who produces graphing software, I'd like to take a stab at the graph myself. support@dplot.com if you're willing.

Yeah, the 30 "measurements" represent an individual poster's ranking of all the SEC teams (look at the data vertically) There are 2 posters from each team in the SEC that provide their rankings (28 total) plus 2 from randomly selected posters on tRant (grand total of 30)

The graph is just for shits and giggles. I used it one week last year to show how sporadic everyone's rankings were, and it just kinda stuck. 3 minutes are put into making it

Who voted the defending SEC champs 6th??? i know you cant reveal the names... but seriously how can you justify it? UGA beats an overrated Clemson by the same margin of victory as Auburn over an underrated Arky....

DA FUQ?!

and this isnt just a rant trend its been going on across espn, secn, and PFS(not that i expect anything other than that) but seriously. why is AU getting no love?
