I still think Texas is really good. OSU will beat the hell out of everyone else they play. the Texas defense will keep them in every game as will Georgia, ill admit that im just assuming Georgia is good, their opponent week one wasnt good enough to be able to tell
Auburn seems good but im not sure what they will be able to do when they cant run the ball.

Really I think theres some good defenses in the conference, the question is which teams have a good enough offense to go with that defense and I believe LSU may be that team that has the offense to go with their defense to make them really good. the clemson games score was nowhere close to indicative of the level of dominance that was shown in that second half. I think the first half was even won by lsu if they didnt shoot themselves constantly, the second half wasnt even close to being as close as the score reflected which was 14-0

Surprised by the top 3 Texas votes

That never felt competitive until the last few minutes, and even then it wasn't much in doubt. 7 points felt like 21. 14 felt impossible.

Texas may well be top 3, but not in a power ranking after that performance.

I actually want to know what people thought about Tennessee on Saturday. People around Knoxville are of course being super optimistic and people on these rant forums just want to troll. I wish someone would actually try and say what they thought about the vols without trolling. Impressed, not impressed, or no idea

I thought they looked pretty good.

If you lose week 1....go to the bottom of the list and try again next week

MSU 13
KY 14
BAMA 15
TX 16

LSU 1 they have the best win.

But how do you rank 2-12....they all look pretty close to me.

Just say you don't understand what power rankings are

Apparently you don’t know what a power ranking is. Several teams got flipped upside down from the pre season power rankings. They don’t mean shite in the first few weeks.

South Carolina did absolutely zero against a returning 6 win ACC to be ranked ahead of us. Are you even a real Vol ffs?

The list goes like this:

1. Tennessee
2. Texas
3. LSU
4. UGA
5. Oklahoma

I'm not buying the SC and sellers hype and the UF Lagway hype at all and I think some teams that could rise up and shock people could be Auburn and Mizzou.

LSU looks greatly improved on defense but I'm cautiously optimistic about them because of BK. Same story even more so with Oklahoma. Venerables has a good looking QB and D but still has to prove he can win big games consistently.

Ole Miss is a potential wild card.

UGA doesn't have a don the field passer on offense so I'm cautiously optimistic about them and firmly believe they are in for a very rude wake up call come two weeks from now I'm Knoxville.

I hate to break it to you but nobody but Tennessee fans come close to thinking that Tennessee is the best team in the conference.
