LSU is the best overall, historically.
UF has 286 Total National Championships
LSU has 240
We are the only SEC schools in the top 10 nation wide...

Congrats on the two titles 10 years ago, but Alabama has a much better winning percentage in basketball than Florida.
Alabama: 1636-1012-1 .618 W-L%
Florida: 1387-1083 .561 W-L%

Comparing Bama to Florida in basketball cannot be a real thing, right? Maybe I took the bait.

It's likely between aTm and LSU.
Posted on 3/2/17 at 10:26 am to The muffintime
Depending on the year, it is between A&M, UGA and LSU. UGA is the only other school to have won the SEC All Sports trophy in the last 25 years.

So Michigan is the all time best football program?
Alabama may have had a superior history to UF basketball before the mid 1990's, but Kruger and Donovan changed the face of Gator basketball. Can't dismiss the 2 national titles, but even if you did there are still another 3 Final Fours and a title game appearance. It may be only 20 years, but they have been that special.

Wrestling program is elite, too. The National Wrestling HOF is in Stillwater and is pretty cool if anyone has a reason to be there.

As a Bama fan, I'll keep continually being a contender every year in Football than being a powerhouse in women's soccer or men's bball.

#1 is certainly up for debate (LSU certainly has an argument). The ninja trying to say that Alabama has a better athletics program than UF though...
