Nashville makes the most sense from every box you can check
Atlanta is a much bigger city, far larger airport, way more hotels, bigger travel destination, faster growing city, and better overall choice

Maybe Texas fans will give it up and stop complaints about the “943 mile drive to hotlanta”.

Of course it’s staying in ATL. Only the simpletons think the SEC would do better elsewhere.

Atlanta is a much bigger city - True
far larger airport - also true
way more hotels - maybe true, but who cares; Nashville has plenty of hotel space
bigger travel destination - this is dumb; Nashville downtown is far superior
faster growing city - yay, more traffic!
and better overall choice - thart’s a negative ghost rider. ATL is a dump of a city. Nashville is way more fun.

Nashville and Atlanta are both really boring

Texas will push hard to get it moved to Dallas.
Actually we haven't and don't need to, Jerry Jones already has that under control.

They moved to Cobb county, because it allowed them to sell out games M-Th. No one was fighting the traffic to go to games during the week.

Why would Texas give a duck where the SECCG is, they aren’t going to be going to that game anytime soon
Posted on 7/14/23 at 8:53 pm to 3rddownonthe8
The SECCG belongs in Kansas City. Arrowhead Stadium is the loudest stadium in the world and located in a true college sports town. Atlanta is arse.
Posted on 7/14/23 at 8:53 pm to 3rddownonthe8
Should be in New Orleans
Posted on 7/14/23 at 8:58 pm to 3rddownonthe8
Why don't we all agree to keep the SECCG in Atlanta and the SEC tourney in Nashville, and then call it a day

As opposed to the filthy hellholes of the Northeast, like Philadelphia and New York City?

Philly sucks but here’s some science to blind you with:
New study ranks New York as America’s best city of 2023

Wow! Scintillating analysis given by a consulting firm no one has ever heard of, and then promoted by the NY Post, which is the U.S. version of the Daily Mail

There’s a reason the Braves moved out of the downtown area.
The Braves moved to Cobb County because Liberty Media wanted to build its own little mini city around the stadium and needed an arse ton of land. Liberty Media still sucks and they're cheap, but it was pretty genius and it's the new model in professional sports.

Texas will have more SEC Championships in fifteen years than than Cow State has won in 90.
