It's more funny knowing we went out on a high note, and have something to build on heading into the spring. Where as Arkansas just has a bunch of stats to brag and make themselves feel better about losing. BTW way to shite a brick Hogs.
On a high note on a team we've already beat mid-season in the same stadium...I guess you could call 31-23 stats (don't forget we knelt down on the 1)...A better statistic would be 3 wins in 4 years

Getting to play aTm will do that for you.

Thanks. I'm sure it will be a few years before we live that down.

On a high note as winning your last game of the season. I seem to remember Hog fans using that against us last year.

You were the better team, and congrats.

Oh Lord and mighty Jesus how on earth could we ever forget that the mighty hogs spared us of losing by more than 8. We should all get down on both knees and thank that high character man for not letting us live through that embarrassment. it would have just ruined our 11 win year.

Why just those years? Why not show the last decade? Last 20 years? Last 50 years?
See you are including stats to fit your argument, but being oblivious to the fact that in the longevity of things LSU has owned your arse.

4-6, which is better than 3-7 which is Alabama's record vs yall in the same time frame. yet yall constantly harp that it's Arkansas who doesn't belong on the field with you?

No one said Arky doesn't belong on the field with LSU. Arky has a good football program but can't come close to touching the program LSU has (especially in the past 10 years). In 2007 LSU lost to Arky too and yet won the National Championship. So, clearly that makes Arky better than LSU that year too.

I dunno what's going on in here, but it's stupid to talk shite about a team that your team lost to.

Here's my take, and I don't care to get into a MB arguement over it but, whatever.
Arkansas had the best recieving corps in the SEC in 2010, all of our starting recievers return. If you want to argue based on what your team "could potentially do", then fine. But until it's actually shown on the field I would believe you'd have to give the nod to the unit that led the SEC the prior year...considering the same unit returns.
It's hard to say that we won't have the best WR unit based on an inexperienced QB considering those in the arguement will (most likely)start an inexperienced QB too. Save USCe, but we're talking about Garcia, master of inconsistency.
Just my two cents worth.

Petrino has a great offensive system. That lends to great stats with good WRs. Don't get me wrong, Arky is at the top with a few others that are (arguably) more talented. But the system gives them the numbers. Reminds me of the UF WRs of the 90s. Good WRs made great by the system.
ETA: UF had some great WRs in the 90s as well. But it also made good WRs great.

The 'system' is, QB takes the snap, receivers run route, QB reads and makes decision, QB throws, Receiver catches. How is that much different than your 'system'?
Do the QB's have to make bad reads, throw bad passes, or receivers not have to get open and THEN make the catch to make them great receivers?

So, basically all OCs run the same system? So, if Gary Crowton was your OC last year you WRs would have the same stats?

why must we have to keep having this conversation with you guy's...yes, since 2003 lsu has been pretty solid team although i wouldn't do a lot of bragging about winning nc with 2 losses....i would juust take that one and run keeping my mouth shut....but prior to 03, lsu and arkansas weren't all that far apart overall....definately not overwhelmingly far apart like lsu fans want to make it out to be including nc's, conf champs, overall wins, etc however bowl wins might be different story ( i can't explain that one).....and for those that keep blaming mallet for our sugar loss i call bs. our, better than your wr's (yes, i said it) lost that game for us. catch those passes like they did all year and we win that game be 2 scores
