The most surprising thing to me is that we had no SEC matchups in the Supers. I guess OM-LSU was a possibility, but it seems like the committee normally fricks the SEC over in the bracket

and it's not the first time it's happened either. 1997 had LSU, Auburn, State, and Alabama. LSU and Alabama played for the national title.

We almost had Vandy/Auburn and could’ve had Arkansas/UGA. I think this year it just worked out that the teams that won regionals weren’t matched up with each other. We still could’ve had a couple all SEC matchups. I don’t think they generally pair SEC hosts with each other. Sometimes they have too because we have so many hosts most years but normally it’s a few 2 seeds that win their regionals matched up with SEC hosts for the supers.

In the super regionals I was pulling for the SEC West. Did not pull for that team from the East. For once it worked out.

But, correct me if I am wrong, The SEC East won the football, basketball and baseball championships this year in the SEC? Not that I GAS because I don't pull for UG or UT but just sayin' isn't part of dominance actually winning your conference?

7 teams in the SEC west. 4 of them in the College world series. A fifth one won it all just last year in Miss st. And a sixth is LSU who is a college baseball Blue Blood.
