quote:
An endowment is a financial asset, in the form of a donation made to a non-profit group, institution or individual consisting of investment funds or other property that may or may not have a stated purpose at the bequest of the donor. Most endowments are designed to keep the principal amount intact while using the investment income from dividends for charitable efforts.
quote:
Endowments represent money or other financial assets that are donated to universities or colleges. The sole intention of the endowment is to invest it, so that the total asset value will yield an inflation-adjusted principal amount, along with additional income for further investments and supplementary expenditures. Typically, endowment funds follow a fairly strict policy allocation, which is a set of long-term guidelines that dictates the asset allocation that will yield the targeted return requirement without taking on too much risk.
Endowment gifts (corpus) are NOT SPENT. They are invested and the money made off of them spent, generally in very specific ways outlined in gift contracts.

Doubt it. But, if true, this dude will become the King of the Gumps around here.

That would be so awesome. Watching their beat writers spin that would be a thing of beauty. I can see a complete break down of his resume, minus being fired at every stop.

It isnt going to happen.
But could you imagine Hurts in a system where the easiest throw is a 25 yard down the field slant?

I understand your sentiment. However, how boisterous would your laugh be if Cam Cameron put up 40 points and beat LSU in Nov?

We'd still own LSU and the rest of college football. Bama's program is that good.

You have more of a chance of getting Cameron, than he does of scoring 40 on anyone
