Not sure what will happen, because at this point I don't care. We have a top 4 national seed locked up. Just in case Arkansas can make a run, this is the pitching that I think we see going forward...

LSU Starter: Isaiah Campbell

Need to get around 4-5 solid innings from Campbell. We haven't used Reindl out of the pen and he can give another 3-4 of solid relief normally. I think Loseke would also be available just because of the low number of pitches he has thrown this week. Same for Cronin to come in and close the door.

If Arkansas makes it to Sunday, probably looking at Bolden, Kostyshock, or Bonin getting the start. Possibly Evan Lee as well. Lee hasn't thrown yet this tourney. Depending on who throws against LSU, Arkansas could also have Loseke, & Cronin available. Really will depend on what Arkansas gets out of Campbell and Reindl today against LSU.

I would leave Cronin and Loseke out of the mix today... time for some freshmen to shine.
If we end up in the final have them available if we want to try and take the thing... otherwise get some valuable experience reps for the bench guys.
Campbell needs to definitely go though... needs as much good juju as he can get before the tournament.

Cronin has only gone once this tourney. Need to throw him again to get him ready for how we will use him in Regional play. If nothing else, just to work on getting his stamina back after mono. If it is a close game today with LSU going to the 9th, it is highly likely we see Cronin.

Ole Miss needs an epic performance by its bullpen today, Fowler probably can't go through lineup more than once

I’m just happy the Tigers are still playing today. I was hoping for one win in this tourney.

Yep. Didn’t expect to be playing on Saturday this week. It’s always nice to win so I’ll take it.

Interesting contrast between a team like atm that is really catching fire at just the right time versus Florida who is doing the opposite. All we can do is wait and see whether those trends continue next week.

Tropical Storm

No one seems to be talking about the fact that Tropical Storm Albert will hit the Alabama Coast early Sunday morning. It will affect weather all over Alabama, including Hoover. The championship game may not get to be played. The SEC may decide to call it and award the two teams that are supposed to play for it co-champions. It shouldn't affect things much. There is a precedent for this. Several years back, they were unable to finish the championship game and awarded the two finalists co-championships. I believe LSU was involved.

Then I have no doubt that Ole Miss will make it to the final. Winning co-championships is all we do.

Only time I remember it was 1990 and State and LSU were awarded co-championships
