My thoughts exactly. Prolly the way that game should have ended. Congrats

This Tim Rowe fellow doesn’t look like your typical SEC baseball player. Asian with a thick beard who could pass for 35.

Dude's a solid player and good hitter. Just lost out to better, younger talent.

Our team is just mentally tough. Not many teams would rally around a guy who threw a game away on a mental mistake then win the game on a walkoff from being down a run

Hope we get another shot against Barn tomorrow so we can earhole that dirty slide guy on his first at bat

I had turned it off but apparently guy was out by a mile and slid late right at our guy's ankle.

Dude who Ty Cobbed our catcher yesterday. I’d rather play Auburn too post-Mize than aTm with their weekend arms all available

Are there any rules to how late they will start a game? Assuming neither of the next 2 games run long, we're looking at a 10pm CST first pitch for AR/FL.

I think it was Auburn’s shortstop who slid into fortes trying to turn 2 before they hit a grand slam. He was out before he started sliding and took out fortes when there wasn’t even a play and he affected the throw

Huh. I'm gonna have to do a lil' research, as I didn't see that game either.

Good luck the rest of the way

ETA: yeah, I'd be furious at that slide if it went against my team, but I think the rule is only about sliding toward the base and not the timing of the slide. He slid straight down the chalkline. Bianco and the ump and the players seemed pretty chill about it though

Did Butch appeal to see if the OM catcher was on the plate when he actually caught the ball? That looked a little suspect in the quick clip that I saw

It was too! I appreciate them making it close all the way through and that was a great ending.

Plus, this made it all the better

first off. it was the first baseman. 2nd it was a perfectly clean slide.. all he has to do is slide into the bag. If you are saying he slid late.. well that points to being your catchers fault even more. That just means he had PLENTY of time to get out of the baseline. He slid straight into home

yeah I'm curious as to how the guy is "out by a mile" yet the catcher still hasn't moved from directly in front of the plate. Every replay was shown in slow motion. maybe that has something to do with it idk. Either that or your catcher needs to work on turning double plays quicker
