Good list.

As much as I love fournette you can't deny the year Chubb had. While I think fournette will eventually prove to be the top back you have it right for now. Both very good backs

Replace Vadal Alexander with Hawkins and it seems good from an LSU standpoint. Hawkins is our best tackle and will be playing LT.

Had Rashard Robinson not been booted you would see all DBU starters on the list. No one has seen Paris in SEC action so we will have to wait and see

That said one of Arkansas's running backs is getting too much love.

Hurd should be in the T5 and he'll prove it this season.

Also no way Georgia should have all 3 top spots for OLBs.

Yeah I don't know why so many of my fellow LSU fans laugh at this. So far Chubb has done more then Fournette and they are pretty similar in Pro's so theirs no need to really have a problem with Chubb ranked ahead of Fournette in people's minds.

Because he shared the backfield with a 1000 yard rusher and just so happened to rush over a 1000 himself?

Chubb
Williams
Collins

Also, I'd put some money over one of Tennessee's safeties finishing in the top 5 statistically by season's end. Probably TK Jr., but Randolph could do it.

I applaud the effort but Brothers plays OLB, and there is no way Kenya Dennis and Micheal Scherer are not top 5 at their position.

No doubt. Why is that? Sure there is the occasional Manning, Tebow, Newton, but, overall, we kind of suck at recruiting and developing qb's compared to the other power five. Also, OM will have a corner on that list (which is hard to argue with right now) before the year is out. I can't argue with Dak, but the guy is well behind Cardelle Jones (OSU and their backups), Connor Cook (MSU), Deshaun Waton (Clemson), Codey Kessler (USC), and I'm sure I'm missing several more.

C and LB are the only positions where Mizzou stands out.

Brothers had 122 tackles last year, and Scherer had 114.

That's a sick LB duo for next season.

No Bama DB should be in the top five.

Get in your kicks while you can. The last few years we haven't had true CBs, but instead athletes that can play anywhere. Now we have 4 young 5-star CBs (and those mentioned athletes with some experience). They might not show out this year, but they will be dominant soon.

if healthy, i like Laquan a little bit better. But since he's not proven he's healthy, that's fair. I think Reynolds is better than Robinson. I think Malachi Dupre and Robert Foster will be top 5 by year's end - as long as Dupre can find someone to get him the ball.

I guess you can't really put him on the list yet since he didn't play last season, but Tray Matthews will be a top 5 safety by the end of the season

Guy will never be anything but a top 5 clown. Doesn't even deserve to be mentioned.
