Two really great match-ups!

This Kentucky pitching decision is moronic. Just classic overcoaching from Mingione.

Agreed. “We have a guy just dealing out of nowhere coach!” “Pull him, the next bullpen guy might be even better!!”

I thought it was a good post. I don't follow baseball and I feel like you caught me up in one post, and I might actually watch some of the game because you did.

Well I'm just glad that SOMEBODY appreciated my work around here
Honestly though, I had just forgotten what day it was and clearly paid no attention to the title of the thread

Let’s hope it’s better the next two days without asinine managing from Mingione.

Sikkema for sure is a stud. All of our weekend starters and our top 3 bullpen guys can pitch. We just have to score more than 2 runs a game.
Posted on 4/20/18 at 9:16 am to hogminer
He certainly can, but I still have no idea how Vanderbilt didn't score more than one run. In the sixth (I think) they managed to hit two doubles and not score a run. 1 out, guy on second and a guy hits a shot to right that hit the base of the wall on the fly, and somehow the guy on second got thrown out at home (and it wasn't particularly close). Great relay throws, but there was no chance Harris (RF) was getting to that ball so I have no idea what the guy on second was doing.
With Misner not playing for Mizzou, I was also shocked that they pitched to Harris in the fifth with a guy on second and two outs. He has basically been the only guy in conference all year (other than Misner) who can beat you, and sure enough he did. Head scratcher for sure.
That being said, I'll take it. Good win and great pitching by both staffs.
