Texas leaves the state of Texas three times this season to play football.

Why the frick does that matter? A 3 hour bus ride vs a 3 hour plane ride. Who cares.

Matters a lot to your home fan base from a traveling standpoint.

Arkansas plays at Oklahoma State in week two.

I would never sleep on OK State. Mike Gundy is one of the best coaches around. He gets crap for recruits and nearly always is competitive.

We were supposed to have USC, Wake Forest, and Tulane next year. Wake is shitty but still power 4. USC and Tulane are both good. USC chickened out and the only replacement we could find was Georgia State.

We have future OOC opponents of Oregon State, BYU, and Virginia Tech so far but hopefully we can find a couple of more decent teams to put on the schedule.

Playing in the SEC and just going to a bowl has been tough for Arkansas. They need more UAPB on the schedule.

They got destroyed by South Alabama at home last year. Arkansas is a big underdog in this game.

Maybe check the OOC schedules while Saban was there before posting this.

I laugh when horn or Sooner’s try to bring up cupcakes on the schedule and they literally play 3 a year.

I know the aggies are not talking about others playing cupcakes. Take your A this year and run along and play.

This is because the Conference schedule is brutal. THis will be a new concept for Texas I believe.

I’ll play North Carolina State would be Colorado State. Not even sure Michigan could beat North Carolina state this year. Michigan is just gonna be a shell of itself.

One of these is not like the other. NC State is a quality OOC game. Power 5, threat in their own conference, and in the (greater) regional footprint.
They were losing to Western Carolina at the beginning of the 4th quarter in last night’s game

I prefer the (what should be) easy wins rather than being able to have "pride" in non-conference games.

So lame.

You'd rather beat up on a school girl than just enjoy and appreciate the sport and the spirit of legitimate competition.

I know. I watched the game. NCSU still won by double digits.

They'll be a tough out down the stretch. They're not competing for a Natty anytime ever (I'm a Carolina grad- I can smell my own kind), but they're a solid program.

I'm just happy we didn't schedule a power house program like NMSU.

I can't believe we have to wait over 6 weeks to kick the everlovin' shite out of Georgia.

I'm already aware that beating Michigan, Miss St, and OU won't shut these homer assclowns up.
