Tennessee is (was) also far better in baseball than they are in basketball.
You need to be hot at the right time in both. Baseball also takes far more skill than basketball.

LMAO so you’re saying that you think hockey and women’s basketball is a bigger sport than men’s baseball in this country? The sport that is labeled “America’s Past Time“.
VFL67 is correct: "College women's basketball
gets significantly more viewers than college baseball, driven by massive audiences for the NCAA tournament and marquee regular-season games. The 2024 women's championship game drew 18.9 million viewers, while the Men's College World Series (baseball) averaged around 1 million, with finals reaching 2.2 million."

Um....how? I mean technically you can win March Madness as a 16 seed...but usually teams ranked highly seeded win.
26 of the last 49 have been won by 1 seeds
5 titles by 2nd place teams in their region
3rd seed 4 titles
4th seed 2 titles
Best records during the tourney in order(top 3)
1 seeds
2nd seeds
3rd seeds
Seems pretty clear...very actually. LSU has a very decent history so not sure why you would downplay basketball..you know just because you do not care about something doesn't mean many millions don't.

Not saying others don’t care about basketball. I’m simply stating the fact that baseball is a more difficult sport.

Basketball = tall guys throwing a ball in a hoop
Hell, if a baseball player hits a .300 average, he’s playing in the MLB for a very long time.
If a basketball player shoots a 30% average, he’s not playing in the NBA very long.
See the difference.
