SEC teams that have put together consecutive 10(+) win seasons since 92 expansion....

Florida: 93-98, 2000-2001, 2008-2009,
Bama: 2008-2017
Georgia: 2002-2005, 2007-2008, 2011-2012, 2014-2015
LSU: 2005-2007, 2010-2013
Tennessee: 1995-1998, 2003-2004
South Carolina: 2011-2013
Arkansas: 2010-2011
Mizzou: 2013-2014
Shocked that Auburn is missing from this list. Perhaps even more unbelievable is they've only done it once in their history 1988-1989. It's considerably easier to do now with a 12 game schedule.
Shocked also that Saban never achieved this at LSU. The injuries in 2002 didn't help him. And the Iowa bowl snafu on the last play from scimmage cost him as well for the 2004 season.
Texas A and M is the only expansion team not to make the list.

What's kinda crazy is that during SC's three year streak LSU, Arkansas, Georgia and even Mizzou were all having their streaks ... and we were all playing one another. Throw in the games with Bama and Auburn ... all of those teams mentioned were playing tough conference schedules.

Didn't Auburn win a National Championship in there and play for another?
You look at that five year stretch from 2009-2013 basically ... this conference was as deep and dominant as it has ever been and may ever will be again. Look at how the polls finished those years. It might have shown even more had we had a playoff back then.

Since expansion we played Bama, UGA, LSU, and UF every year up until 2002 and Bama, UGA, LSU every year after. We also caught Meyer at UF (beat him both games). No other team has had anything close to this.

Playing Bama every year is what sets that apart ... all teams in the west can claim that.
It's what you doing during your opponents best years that add up.
Those 2011-2013 years SC played LSU and Arkansas while they were having excellent years, plus UGA and Florida (Boom's only 11 win season down there) ... plus the East, if you're talking pre-2012 expansion, was tougher than the West throughout the 90s and part of the 2000s it was pretty much a push.
The West is tougher right now thanks to Bama, and this year Auburn, but a lot is yet to be seen about the East because we expect UGA to be very good, I hope SC is very good and who knows who will win between LSU/UF and so on.
One last thing I'll add that you're not giving SC credit for during our little three year run .... is that we dominated Clemson for five straight years during that run and they were not exactly chopped liver at that time ... although they were still humping sheep and sister banging. But they won what, 32 games of their own during that 2011-2013 stretch so you cannot not give credit to our SOS during that frame of time for the OCC schedule. Not only that but we were beating UNC and NC State during their best recent years during that stretch.

if you are merely talking numbers

LSU having to play Florida every year since in the same time frame, might argue differently. UGA should have been a win for you easily in the nineties if you were a ten win type of team. LSU was horrible after expansion until Saban got there.

Auburn played 4 of the big 6 every year for the first 10 years of the expansion, with the 5th team occasionally in the rotation. If simply talking about the meat of the conference as a whole, by name, AU played more than anyone.
You would have to do a yearly individual records comparison of opponents in the SEC and OOC to make a true argument as to who played harder teams in each season

The Barn has won 10 games back to back once time in their history. It is doucmented. (88-89)

Years you missed out by one:
1994: tied a 6-4-1 UGA team that didn't even get a bowl bid.
2005:Lost to a 7-5 Tech team to start the year. Would've had 3 straight.
2007: Lost to South Florida and MSU.
All the other times, you only managed 8 wins or less, following a 10 win season.

Again, in the nineties, LSU was trash and UGA was not so great either.

thanks for telling us, I guess you had a had time deciphering it above so needed to repeat it, just in case some other morons had trouble like yourself

Again, you would have to make an actual effort to show this to prove your argument by showing records of opponents in comparison, but based off name, AU played the bigger teams

Why are you shocked by this?
Saban won 10+ games only twice in his first 12 years as a college HC before the REC funds started kicking in.

LSU was 44-46-1 from 1992-1999
UGA was 59-33-1. Not bad, but no juggernaut.

Ok then ... since some are arguing that 10 wins is easier to do these days while playing 12 regular season games ... do consecutive 11 win seasons since, well, forever.

Also only had one loss that year by a touchdown to Bama, no bowl game

Also lost to top Ranked LSU in OT and ranked Wisky

USF got a #1 ranking that year, other losses were to top teams

You are using two teams records when there are numerous others to use for the argument. two teams records dont prove any point or close to it

We'll see how it plays out, but what the conference is doing in baseball this year may be even more impressive.
