As to the rivalry, I know Mizzou want's a replacement for KU and now the Hogs have other more important rivals. I kinda hoped the distance would make Vanderbilt a rival as they have similar colors and in most sports they would be fairly matched. Trade off baseball dominance by VU for football by MU.
Kentucky already has pretty solid rivals in.....
Louisville (current)
Indiana (dormant)
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
State (since the expansion in 92)
Kansas (basketball)
Seems KU was the big rival for MU and realignment killed that for now. Maybe bring back the Iowa State game and play them in other sports as well.
