The beginning of the year they were saying it was a down year for the SEC.

False. Clemson is just a better team than LSU on offense and they won the game in the trenches.

Louisville is a better 2-loss team than Florida. Florida nearly lost to ULL, needing a last minuted TD and a punt block return to escape with a win at home. They were bad against Bowling Green. Had an ugly offense all year, and their secondary was ripped to shreds.

You really going to tell me with a straight face that Clemson has enough time to get in position to kick the field goal if Miles doesn't go full retard on that last drive? If LSU runs the ball on 2nd and 3rd down, Clemson either burns its last two timeouts or loses 1:20 worth of clock.

A "better team" doesn't blow a 3 score lead to Florida State or get outscored 23-3 in the 2nd half by a team without its best players.

False.

Two things happened in that LSU-taterhead game, well, three actually.

Clemson got some breaks with two pass interference calls. But it should have never been that close.

Miles called a shitty game - he played to the taterhead's strengths rather than playing to his team's strengths.

this year yes next Bama and LSU return a ton. Taking a wait and see on Auburn and Arkansas but those are two top15 teams typically.

Remember how last year TWO SEC teams played for the title? Think about that. It was a rematch of a conference game. In the NATIONAL TITLE. That was last year! It isn't like we have to remember something that happened in 2000 or something.

Oregon's explosive offense couldn't score against an atrocious Auburn defense that Kentucky worked.

FIFY.

Someone needs to teach that boy strategy. Qb option to throw or pass and called pass, then an Audible out of the run to a pass. frick that dude.

Clemson outgained LSU all night on offense. If you're going to qualify the loss by saying Miles and LSU gave it away by not running the ball late, I will go ahead and say that if Clemson doesn't fumble deep in their own territory twice it's a blowout.

Edit - Clemson won that game without their best player.

I'm not sure why all night is being used. Oregon out gained LSU too. How did that work out for them?

Lsu got a break with Clemson's best player being hurt 1st play from scrimmage. Guess what, Clemson was a better team than LSU this year. As a die hard Tiger fan, I can admit that. There are times when the other team completely outplays you, and wins. Clemson dominated every statistical category and deserved to win that game. They were just flat out better than us that night.

Louisville was just flat out better than Florida. Charlie Strong has done a great job with that team. Florida might have been the most overated team in the nation, honestly

You can talk about that till the cows come home just like I could say "well if Clemson doesnt turn it over inside our own 30 TWICE for 10 points then LSU is never even in the game". That was a choice he made and it part if the game. He fricked up and Clemson took advantage. Thats how the game works.

Rust. Both offenses were affected by the layoff. Auburn only put up 22 points on Oregon's defense, which I believe was the lowest point total they put up all year.
