Forced has got nothin' to do with it. I'd jump from just outside Louisville to East Tennessee in a minute. Ditto for anywhere on Alabama or Florida Panhandle part of the Gulf. Just a great, great part of the country as far as I'm concerned

I would move to Kentucky in a heartbeat.

Chattanooga is not bad. Has some beauty. Different seasons. No state tax. A lot to do. There is a lot to like about Chattanooga. I kind of prefer smaller places, so left up to me, it would be a smaller town outside of Chattanooga, but close enough to drive in for sites, concerts and other stuff to do.

I guess Texas but wouldn’t be happy about it
Would not move to any other SEC state

If you already have your money, rural Kentucky is pretty damn nice. If you're still earning your money ? Then rural Kentucky can be a rough row to hoe.
Louisville is awful. But places like Bowling Green are mini-cities now, and the kinda' places that are nice to work in, shop in, and then drive thirty minutes away from.

Would: Tennessee, Kentucky, Oxford Miss
Would not: large swaths of the southeast, honestly
Bonus outside the footprint: Oregon

Yep, that's why I'm in Texas today. Kentucky just didn't have the job opportunities I was looking for as I was starting my career.
Now that I'm established and have a job that can be done fully remotely, I often wonder why the hell I'm still in this got damned convection oven we call Texas.
I'm from Lex originally, so that would probably top my list. But I've worked in Frankfort a good bit and have a lot of good friends that have ended up moving to the Shelbyville area in the last 10 years, so that would garner a serious look as well if I were to make a move.

I'll be damned. I used to live in Shelbyville - Guist Creek area. It's a TON bigger than you remember. They've got so much shopping now there is no need to go to East Louisville anymore.
Bowling Green has exploded. Brandenburg is growing like a weed, of all places.

Would live anywhere except the interior Deep South. Nothing redeeming about that area

It really ain't. It will never have the same degree of leftism that SF has. Nashville proper is still a very conservative area. Most Nashville neighborhoods are blue, but still nothing like SF. East Nashville is probably the most liberal part of the city.

If you think those exact same type of people don't exist within every SEC school administration you are lying to yourself. The good thing for Missouri is those same types of people aren't writing our laws (at least the ones that get passed). Can't say that as much for Georgia anymore.

From Louisiana…would not return
Live in Kansas City…like it, but would leave
I’d move to Georgia (not ATL), South Carolina or Tampa area of Florida

east Nashville is not "liberal", it's ghetto
they are slaves to the Democratic party - they don't even know what "liberal" means
