I haven’t watched him this year. Seemed good at getting the ball to his playmakers but rarely threw downfield. Is that still the case State fans?

He and Levis are kind of my wild cards for opposite reasons.
Levis throws a really nice deep ball but seems to make some big mistakes and can be inaccurate short.
Rogers seems to be great at Leach's system throwing the ball within 10-15 yards, but I dunno about stretching the field when needed.

I have admittedly not watched a ton of football this year outside of Georgia. Only have seen like 8/14 SEC teams.
Arkansas will be a good litmus test for JT. He said yesterday he strained his oblique in fall camp and had to play through it vs Clemson. If he can light up the Hogs I’ll be back on the train.

I've been really impressed with Jefferson at Arkansas and how Briles has used him in the framework of the offense and what his strengths are. He's really solid.
Jones ran the spread option run offense really well against us, he just isn't a reliable thrower.
Bo Nix is who he is.
I honestly haven't seen Bazelak throw a pass all season so that may be unfair.
Calzada threw it better last weekend, so this weekend will be interesting to see where he really slides in.
Max Johnson looked timid to throw the ball downfield against UCLA. It sounds like he did more the last 2 weeks, but then again that was a bad 1AA team and a slow directional Michigan team. Be interesting to see how he looks against a solid State defense.
Really happy with Bryce so far. He's got a lot to improve on and he's still clearly young and raw, but the tools are great and he's got all the mental stuff.

I have never seen this guy throw a pass..
but the following stats impress me.
1st Down
29-43 for 412 yards 3 TD 0 Int
170.9 Passer Rating
2nd Down
29-46 for 321 yards 4 TD 1 Int
146.0 Passer Rating
3rd Down
18-22 for 164 yards 2 TD 0 Int
174.4 Passer Rating
Perhaps the competition has just been weak, but those 3rd down stats are legit.

If you click on the twitter link at the top it goes to their twitter and has a link to their actually website. They put up a paywall this year which kind of sucks (but I get, it's great stuff that takes time to put together), but you get like 5-10 clicks free before it pops up.

Yes, he hardly ever throws the ball down field and usually settles for the check down

This can’t be right, Matt Corral had 2 bad games last year. I’ve been told that means he’s a bum.
