Ties in the standings are resolved with head-to-head. Georgia is 2-1 versus Auburn the last three years.

And the SECr still thinks Auburn will fall off of a cliff this season.

The SEC rant needs to start having power rankings every week for the SEC.

You'll have to file the proper paperwork first, then go before the board of trustees, and they'll ultimately vote on the matter.

They work slower than the NCAA FWIW...

If we use the correct records that are in the actual record books for bama that are:

2010: 5-3
2009: 8-0
2008: 8-0
2007: 1-4
2006: 0-6
2005: 0-2
2004: 4-4
2003: 2-6
2002: 6-2
2001: 4-4

Last 3: 21-3
Last 5: 22-13
Last 10: 38-31

We can then update the list to:

Last three years:

Alabama 21-3
Florida 19-5
LSU 14-10
Georgia 13-11
Auburn 13-11
South Carolina 12-12
Arkansas 11-13
Tennessee 10-14
Mississippi 10-14
Mississippi State 9-15
Kentucky 7-17
Vanderbilt 5-19

Last five years:

Florida 31-9
LSU 26-14
Auburn 24-16
Georgia 23-17
Arkansas 22-18
Alabama 22-13
Tennessee 21-19
South Carolina 18-22
Mississippi State 14-26
Kentucky 14-26
Mississippi 12-28
Vanderbilt 8-32

Last ten years:

Florida 58-22
LSU 56-24
Auburn 54-26
Georgia 53-27
Tenneesse 49-31
Arkansas 40-40
Alabama 38-31
South Carolina 37-43
Mississippi 30-50
Kentucky 22-58
Mississippi State 20-60
Vanderbilt 13-67

Don't be mad at me because you were caught cheating, again.

Well, they would if the NCAA hammered them. When Alabama got hit in 2002, they had been in the top three of the SEC standings over the previous ten years. The five years following were not that successful, outside 2002 and 2005. Of course a 2-6 conference record in 2003 and 2006 counter the "success" in those other years. That all being said, outside of the NCAA actually doing something to Auburn there's no reason to think they'll slide to the bottom half of the SEC.

I absolutely agree with this. But, I'm talking about just for this upcoming season.

We all also know that according to the governing bodies that free textbooks do not = wins.

Take up your complaint with them, I posted accurate information. :DWI:

That is correct i didnt realise Tubbs was still there in 2008. That being said, I still think Tuberville is a better coach than Chizik.

If you must be an arse, you should at least arrange the "edited" standings correctly. Because you and I both know that a 50% winning percentage doesn't place you in front of someone with a 55.1% winning percentage. Nor does 55% overcome 62.9%.
