Faurot is a great place to watch a game, but it's not architecturally unified. Missouri has been playing football on that site since the 19th century.

At first folks just sat on the sides of a former quarry and watched. Then they built the original stadium over and in the quarry just after the 1st World War. They've been adding on to it ever since.

That old 1920s stadium is still there, underpinning it all. It always looks smaller than it is, as so much is below ground level, down in that old quarry.

Literally almost every SEC stadium has just as much history and the same story. Did you think this would be some kind of differentiator? Or an excuse for why it can't be significantly bigger?

Most aren’t below ground level thus making the stadium look smaller. UGA is but the Jordan Hare looks tall and somewhat out of place.

Vaught Hemingway Stadium…

Jordan Hare…

Hiring shite coaches and not firing them in a timely manner

Has nothing to do with the subject at hand, however

It does actually. The size of your stadium and it's capacity has nothing to do with the quality of your football team.

EG: Tennessee, Arkansas...

Looks like Arkansas' Razorback Stadium now has the colored lights...looks great.

Here's the only pic I found with mountains in the background. Arkansas has a very nice looking stadium.

But no stack of trophies - sorry, I never watch aTm do anything. I'll let Lincoln Riley handle recruiting.

Respectfully, you bragged in another post about throwing up on JHS as retribution for Tubbs leaving you… first, way to show that class… secondly, if you truly visited you would know JHS is similar to Sanford in that it was built below ground.

LSU’s exterior architecture is the best if I do say so myself. It’s so unique.
