Honestly Wilson has not been as impressive as last year. He has made a lot of mental mistakes and I know part of that is from having a porous OL, but he has thrown into coverage a good number of times. He is still a great QB though.
McCarron is definitely the best game manager. He plays within the system and limits mistakes.
Manziel is the best playmaker. He is dynamic and the defense has to be geared towards stopping him. I still think he has a year or two to go before crowning him the best in this conference, but he has been quite impressive to date.

But seriously, I'll have to go with Wilson. I didnt particularly like him calling his teammates quitters after the Bama game but he's still played at a high level.
I would also say Connor Shaw is a distant second. Ive liked him since he stepped in for Garcia the Bro last year and he stepped it up playing thru pain in the Vandy game

Best QB is relative.
Best skill set ( i.e. could be great if the whole offense wasn't on his shoulders and had competent players around him)? Wilson.
Most effective ( i.e. is able to keep the offense on the field and turn it into points on the board) - McCarron or Shaw
Pure suck arse - Mocha/White/Jew Cams
Talented but folds under pressure -Gaysus
Best one foot still in the SW Conf/Big 12- Johnny Foosball
Best QB that needs to learn to get rid of the damn ball - Driskel

JFF reminds me of a faster Tebow for some reason.

I always hate these "best QB" questions. You can't compare QBs in college across the board like you can with pro QBs. Some systems and offenses will make their QB look better than they are, and vice versa.

AJ wouldn't have won against South Carolina if he had started for Georgia Saturday night either.

I still think its Wilson
Passing efficiency suggests otherwise.
McCannon #5 (177) 12 tds 0 ints 999 yds
Wilson #36 (145) 9 tds 5 ints 1571 yds

Most efficient/reliable QB - McCarron
Best playmaker - Shaw/Manziel
Most NFL-ready - Bray/Wilson (Bray doesn't have the heart, but he's got the talent)
Most upside - Driskel

One team is #1 and one is #91
Wilson has all the tools

Who is the best vs. Who has been able to perform the best is always the debate. If we had Wilson and a HC/OC that would let him air it out, he'd be at the top of Heisman watch lists.

I gotta agree with Trey here. Wilson had his head knocked around pretty good and it took him a game or so to get it back together. Look for him to go back to torching secondaries very soon. This kid is a rare talent. It's a shame his NFL career is getting shortened with every play behind that terrible O line.

From a pure talent standpoint I do believe he is the best in the SEC.
It is very hard to distinguish who the best QB is. There are different schemes, age differences, and the talent around them would have to be taken into account.
The best winner is McCarron. McCarron also has the luxury of an NFL defense.
