Man, Florida is gonna be lucky to even host a regional this year. I don't see any way they can make a run to Omaha.

BaseVOLS RPI is fueled by 11 top 75 RPI wins so far this young season.

That first weekend is really carrying us. SEC play scares me.

SEC is just going to beat each other up. 18-12 will be a great SEC record. Will see a host of teams 13-17 to 17-13. Have to avoid road sweeps at all costs.

Alabama has its easiest conference schedule in years, but still opens SEC play with Arkansas and Ole Miss. They close with Vanderbilt, LSU, and Miss State. They have to make their move on those series in between (Tennessee, Texas A&M, auburn, Kentucky, and Missouri) to show any real improvement. 10 wins in the SEC may be all they manage. And it’s a really solid collection of young talent.

Texas A&M and Kentucky are going to be as tough as the rest of the State/Ole Miss/Ark, etc series.

Maybe. It certainly looks that way on paper. But, more often than not, when you have this many teams that you expect to be really tough, one or two end up not having the season they expect due to injuries or what have you.

Should Mississippi State have scheduled a game with a better team to start SEC play? I am concerned that even after sweeping LSU our RPI could drop.
