I'm a girl. Although I think my boyfriend got tired of constant questions about which rivalries I thought were most historic...

Is switch Florida and Tennessee. Would make the UGA division more competitive. If all the conferences would do this, we could finally expand the playoff system because essentially every conference would have a mini playoff for conference champions.

NC State and Va Tech bring nothing to the conference and just weakens the brand. Why do people want them in the SEC?

I like your West and East pods, but I think the South is too strong. I would adjust to have the Mid-West be Ole Miss, Miss St, Vandy, and Tennessee. In the Middle East, I'd put Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Kentucky. Sure that may look tougher historically, but it gives every pod a rent-a-win. Mizzou in the west, Vandy in the mid-west, UK in the mid-east, and any team not named Florida in the east.

How so? I don't think those powderpuff teams everyone plays would mind that much as long as they got a check.

That will be a waste of money. If we got to 16 teams it would ultimately mean that the B1G, PAC and Big 12 got there as well. As long as they are doing it I fine with it. It would also mean that the AAC and Sun Belt likely go to 16 as well and maybe the MWC too. it would all work itself out.

Good idea. I could switch it to be LSU-Ole Miss, Bama-TAMU, and Arky-State. Arky-State should be able to find some hate for each other.

If we had 5 conferences set up this way and it basically created a new FBS of 80 teams that only played eachother..........would be awesome.

Ha yep.

I'd hate to lose LSU every year. It's my favorite game and my entire life we have played every year. But killing Ole Miss-LSU would be akin to killing Alabama-Tennessee. Can't do it.

So two new teams to the conference NC State and Va Tech are in their own division? This may be the worst idea I've seen. Congrats on wasting your time with this.

It would be better for the viewers, but worse for the SEC. All the conferences would be treated evenly, even though some of them are complete garbage.

Yeah I think 5 would be too many. Do 4 conferences with 16 teams, with semi-finals for their playoffs. Expand playoffs and give conference champions an auto-bid and a bye to start the playoffs. That would be a damn good system that didn't dilute the importance of winning one's conference while also allowed for some conferences to be stronger and get in additional teams.
