SEC Realignment Proposal

Current East-West divisions with permanent cross-division opponents:
Proposed new East-West divisions with new permanent opponents:
Three permanent opponents would dissipate, namely LSU-Florida, SC-A&M, and Miss State-Kentucky.
Auburn gets to play Georgia, Alabama gets to play Tennessee, and Alabama and Auburn keep the Iron Bowl. Mississippi State loses Kentucky but gains Vanderbilt. Everyone is happy!
Move SEC offices out of Tuscaloosa to New Orleans, a neutral site.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

SEC Offices should be somewhere in Mississippi. No amount of corruption could make either one of those teams good.

An LSU fan wants to drop us annually. I'm SHOCKED.

Um no. LSU would have the easiest route to the SEC Championship game every year. Nice try though LOL

I wish y'all were in the East though so we could start playing again.

I'm pretty sure this is a troll thread.

We've been playing each other since 1971 and it's been the best series in the conference since 2000 (an even 7-7). UF/LSU isn't going anywhere.

Ahh so LSU would rather play Mizz and Vandy every year instead of AU and UA. Such pussies.

He's in the minority. Almost every LSU fan that I know loves the UF game, myself included. If it were changed I'd be pissed.

Don't flatter yourself. More LSU fans would be upset about dropping this game...

I wish we played Alabama/Auburn/LSU every year. None of the other teams in the West interest me at all.

Vandy and the Mississippi schools have no business being in the same division.
Either eliminate permanent cross division opponents or move to a 9 game schedule. Its as simple as that. Best case would be 9 games with no permanent cross division opponent, but thats not likely to happen any time soon
Once the SEC offices get their shite together and set a permanent schedule that rotates this nonsense about schedule inequality to go away.
Bridge schedules have by far been the worst thing about the latest expansion.

1. Kick out Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri, and South Carolina.
2. Everyone plays each other.
3. ???
4. Profit.
Edit: Kentucky and Vanderbilt stay because we need them for basketball and academics.

I'm with you on this because I loved getting to play UGA and UF this year. The only thing I don't like about the schedule right now is that how long it takes for the East teams to rotate back on, and a 9 game conference schedule would fix that.

Which foot steps would that be TigerBait2008?

4-8 teams that can only block each other aren't that interesting to us either.
